Located 85 feet underground and surrounded by solid limestone, your data is insulated from natural and man-made disasters.
The facility’s state-of-the-art security system includes security guards, security cardkey access levels, visual inspection, video monitoring, and biometrics.
85Under Underground Data Center power and cooling
- natural air temperature is 60° - 64°F year-round
- Power feed: (2) 1.5kw 13,200v transformers (on a looped substation feed)
- Backed-up with (2) 3,000hp twin turbo, 16 cylinder diesel generators each with a 2MW genset. Utilizes (4) 400kv UPS units running in parallel (N+1)
- Cooling is handled by (2) 250 ton chiller plants (N+1)
- Minimum of (2) 40-ton air handlers in each data center space (N+1)
- 20 hours worth of fuel on hand at all times and delivery is available 24x7
